This is a bad hotel! Bad service, rude staff. My mother was sick and the hammering went on for 2 hours inspite of me requesting them to stop. They wouldn’t listen. Won’t recommend this hotel if you want to have a peaceful, quiet vacation. I would expect quiet, a little bit polite service. I mentioned that I don’t want any room service but some quietness, the cleaning guy bangs the door, opens and bangs again.

The only advantage was the hotel is near to the Mattuthavani bus stand and Air conditioner was working fine. The rooms and bathrooms are not that clean. The bathroom tap was broken and water heater was not working. The Digital key was not working and everytime we have to reach out to the reception for unlocking the door. The restaurant attached was only average. Overall we didnt had very good time.

I have stayed in the Hotel Templecity Dreamz Inn (15th-16th, June,2018). It was a religious trip with my Family. Rooms : > Rooms were allocated to us on second floor and overall four floots. Rooms size was medium. Check Photos. > All Linen were very clean and room looked pretty nice. I took some photos while we vacated the room. > Rooms interiors are good neatly done > King size bed with comfortable mattress was good enough for two adults and one child > Enough storage space to keep your luggage's > Rooms had A/C and it was very effective. > Hot water geezer was not working. But we called reception who arranged hot water in 30 minutes. Read earlier reviews mentioning same compliant but management doesn't seem to have fixed the geezer issue. Rooms 204,205,206 power goes off if geezer switched on. > Toilet was western, clean and tidy. > Toilet had towels and soap. > TV was available with cable connection with limited regional(tamil) channels > Two power sockets were available to charge your devices Food : > Food is served on request to rooms. > They have south indian restaurant below in ground floor which serves veg food. > Menu choice was good. We had breakfast only and it was ok only. Not excellent or great. > Coffee, Tea & Milk served on request to room. We tried both coffee and tea and it was very good. > If you are a foodie, you may want to explore other options. > Pongal was very good. We tried idly, dosa which was ok only. Service : > Service was good. > Check in / Check out process was quick and smooth > People available in reception all the time. Location : > Located near mattu thavanani bus stop > Many shops / hotels near by 500 meters. > Car Parking is available and wasn't a problem > Suits for people who travel on their own vehicles or cabs Cost > Very reasonable and value for money. I will visit again. Room Tips > Avoid 204,205, 206 which had geezer issues as mentioned above.

Value for money, clean, spacious rooms and peaceful stay

Stayed here with family last week. It is a well maintained hotel and the rooms are spacious. Beds are comfortable, clean linen and bathroom/toilet neat too. The manager contacted us the day before to confirm that we are indeed checking in and the time of arrival. The hotel is nearer to Trichy highway, and the main bus stand (Mattuthavani) in Madurai. Meenakshi amman temple and railway station are around six Km, which is not a big distance. They have a Vegetarian restaurant downstairs which serves Tiffins and South Indian meals (afternoons only). Evenings it is tiffins and some North Indian snacks/Noodles etc. My family like the tiffins. Particularly the day we checked in, it was late afternoon, but they went out of the way to make sure we had lunch. They actually get pre-cooked meals from their restaurant (a namesake) opposite Mattudhavani bus-stand. The hotel looks like provides Wi-fi as I saw a wi-fi AP, but not sure as I did not use it. The hotel is away from the busy areas and in a quiet, residential colony. The room boys expect generous tips (every time they serve you, either coffee or water bottle or tiffin).

The room was very big. This is new property. Carpenter work was very well designed. Service was very much fast. Hotel front office staff was very much polite. This is well connected to main road of the city. Interior of the front office was very good. They provide free water in the room. The price was very much economical. Many families come here.
